“EduTech Company SAGE, World’s First Agility and Grit School, Seals Partnership with NBS for Malaysian Market”

Manila, June 30, 2020:  Manila-based education technology startup School of Agility, Grit, and Entrepreneurship (SAGE), signed a strategic collaboration agreement with Malaysian non-government organization, Nation Building School (NBS) in a bid to establish stronger cooperation and alliance for education, entrepreneurship, and business acceleration. The partnership is expected to benefit at least 2000 students from both sides in terms of training and exposure to industry leaders and mentors from both countries. 

NBS will be the official partner of SAGE in Malaysia in bringing the SAGE platform and services to the Malaysian market and impart participants with future-ready skills. This will be jointly carried out through organizing grassroots entrepreneurship related activities, events, and programs designed to equip participants with agility, grit, and entrepreneurial mindset.

SAGE was developed and funded by RxR Capital Pte. Ltd., a Singapore-based private investment and acceleration fund. RxR Capital is led by Malaysian serial entrepreneur, Rina Neoh who hails from Penang State. The company is part of RxR Capital’s string of startups engaged in EduTech, smart city infrastructure, food retail, behavioral data science, hyper local marketing across ASEAN.

The partnership is the first overseas agreement signed for SAGE and is part of a global strategy to help create stronger links with other education institutions and other companies. NBS shall also contribute to the core activities of SAGE through the former’s network and is envisioned to further strengthen startup ecosystem development in Malaysia.
